Walking the labyrinth often has often opened up surprises for me in small reflections on how I tend to approach life (e.g. being someone who is most of the time content being on the periphery and often appreciates being alone, but valuing being with others too).
I’ve often been reminded that I don’t need to rush or worry about ‘doing’, and to appreciate being in a safe space where I can allow myself to be open to whatever may come. I had these sorts of experiences early on during my labyrinth walking, so am not sure that I’m receiving anything particularly new now – though in reflection, perhaps I’m just more alert to listen out to the small insights and gifts that the labyrinth so often offers.
