The Mind of Design

TLS 365 Experience #31
March 31, 2017

One great interesting and often amusing part of designing labyrinths is the challenge of on the spot creations. Sometimes there is not enough material and other times not enough space and from all this lack often comes a surplus of abundance in looking around to discover what there is actually more than enough of.

The awareness the labyrinth offers is a sense of limitless opportunity just waiting to be asked. In the mind of design the labyrinth takes over and forms itself.

The key of awareness is to use the labyrinth to go inward to retrieve the treasures and trust the reflective return to inspire the gifts and details to use.

  1. Thank you very much for your thoughts. For me it becomes simple and much like the walk, only complicated when I make it that way. In art and design, taking away what isn’t there I find helps to see what is there. There’s a daily post from 2017 and 2018 to get different perspectives. Appreciate your perspective!
