The Courage of Curiosity

TLS 365 Experience #48
April 17, 2017

Jodi Lorimer

I was first attracted to the labyrinth by a newspaper article about people walking it as a meditative exercise, which didn’t make any sense to me. I understood it as a frightening place inhabited by a cannibalistic monster that would eat you.

I was compelled, like many others, to investigate what this symbol meant and where it came from. Gradually, my search turned into a book, which I never imagined writing until I had.

The research required many years and reading many, many books, which led me into places I’d never imagined going. In talking to others about the book and its subject, I was delighted to share my knowledge and hear about their experiences.
