Levity on the Labyrinth

TLS 365 Experience #187
September 3, 2017

Levity on the LabyrinthThe labyrinth provides us with many uses and a variety of ways to share it. I have walked the solemn and quiet path in search of discovery or peaceful transitions, though I also find a sense of celebration of life on it as well. It is many things to many people and fitting in that way, as a wondeful acceptance and appreciation of our differences.

Leading a group in a reflective walk, there was a sense of cheer in the group that formed from new perspectives learned in our time together. For some it was pure jubilation and there was a joyful attitude that was quite infectious in the group. As we shared revelations in our discussions, several wanted to walk again and in doing so there was a dance in the step and a playful skipping that seemed a very fitting expression of the body. In the end a few posed in the center with an uplifting statement of “TA-DA”.

With such lightness, it left all in an appreciated state and a satisfied sense of being in the world.  The world could do with a bit more levity to remind us of our passion and purpose more often.
