Month of Beginnings
Quarter of Consciousness
Let’s Walk the World, a focus of contribution
- For Your Walk:
Consider the contributions, rituals, customs and blessings that have been a part of the walks before you as you step into your experience on the labyrinth today and the experiences in life you step into.
- For Your Experience:
Realize how many of those contributions you have been a part of, contributed to and how it has made a difference.
- Share: Share your message
When we collectively offer the ways to begin, someone sees a new idea, thought or experience to enjoy. Today, share images, art, ideas, designs, tips, facilitations, building strategies, ideas from your book, poems, teachings, etc.
In the spirit of Contribution, Flannigan’s Inn built this labyrinth on the hilltop for all to find solace and inspiration from. Located in Springdale, UT, just outside the entrance to Zion National Park, the labyrinth is a beacon of welcome with an environmental message. The Manager and a few participating guests from the Inn shared perspectives of their experience that spoke of its contribution to the community, environment, and personal perspectives
Recalling a memorable moment, the Manager Reeves shared that visiting monks had contributed a blessing for the labyrinth. The Manager also shared of another contribution by Labyrinth Society’s Founding Member Taffy Lanser’s ceremonial tribute. While this labyrinth is a contribution for so many, it is made up of a number of contributions.

January: A Month of Beginnings
With a focus on sharing this month and the ways we set up our plans to the actual way we place our first step, beginnings can offer us a way to realize our outcomes.
- Explore what beginning is like for you, personally or professionally in all you do.
- Observe yourself in this first quarter of the year as a contribution.
- Walk, design, teach, build, express yourself in sharing an experience this month.
