Offerings of the Labyrinth

I share the labyrinth with my classes offering them a chance to understand a different kind of meditation, a new way to examine deeper and more efficient breath and the opportunity to practice mindfulness.

Participants are often intrigued as to how the labyrinth can make the type of difference that it does make and I send them home with finger labyrinths and the world wide labyrinth locator information, so that they might find a permanent structure near where they live. I find there are such a variety of ways to utilize the idea of the labyrinth where learning and education are involved.

In self education, the labyrinth provides a vital reflection.

Valentines Day Labyrinth

Happy Valentine’s Day

This is a heart labyrinth I designed especially for us!

May we walk the path of joy in finding our way healthy and happy in our consciousness today.

Begin on your lower left and enjoy the graceful long looping journey up and over and around and down again, only to rise up and repeat in reverse. Let the long looping traces remind you to breathe in and exhale slowly releasing more on the exhale than on the inhale. As you move toward the center you will find your breathing easier and your head and heart clearer to find what awaits you planting your own two feet in the center.

As you return from your ah ha moments in the center, smile and release it into the path, breathing in at each turn and exhaling longer as you move externally.

When you reach the end of your walk you will feel more oxygenated and clearer in function of mind and body… your spirit will thank you!
