Day 329  November 25
In The Year of Honest Living
In The Quarter of: Contribution
In The Month of: Grateful Pathways

Week Four: Counting Your Blessings

The grace of a blessing is offered without condition and bestowed in a variety of forms. Not always gentle, a blessing is a connection of our internal expression that is met in someway by our action that stirs it into our presence for realization and appreciable gratitude. In the state of higher gratitude of practice or consciousness, we are likely to see more blessings as we change our ability to tune in.

To embrace the abundance that blessings bring, being available to receive is an essential quality to possess. Asking may be a beginning process, yet allowing ourselves to experience and appreciate them is a necessity. It is when we embrace and own the experience of receiving that we become true in what we give and offer to others. As the blessings are not always understood, we may dismiss what we ask for if it comes in a different package.

The Third Blessing: Embrace

The labyrinth can seem daunting to some. It is a seemingly curious set of geometric circles, shapes and patterns that flow with spiraled purpose into a center point and back out, traveling on the same path that we travel in on. This makes it a simple instrument, with complexities that show up in the realizations and blessings that occur when we walk with as a natural human spiral on a geometric spiral.

Embracing the unknown, is a way to make known something new, different and beneficial. As a society, we make wrong what isn’t understood and when we embrace the unknown with curiosity to make small knowns, we change our dynamic understanding. That alone is a blessing, though by inviting and accepting more, the blessings tend to pour.

Week Four Focus: Blessings

In discovering the elements of gratitude, thanks is an expression we use to communicate our sense of what we hold gratitude for. Explore the ways Appreciation is felt this week on the labyrinth in daily walks, group facilitation, program creation, offerings, artwork, illustration and design, building canvas or permanent designs, books written or poetry created. However you find thanks as the path, on the path or of the path you are on… how is it expressed?

    • Personal: consider the ways of your own personal adventures and use.
    • Associations: contemplate the ways of use with friends, family, and relationships or other acquaintances.
    • Environs: realize the community uses, organizations, landscapes encountered.
    • Global: imagine the ways that what you do reaches others in the world environs.

Share and become part of history and her story…
