TLS 365 Experience #238
October 24, 2017
I began this walk grateful with the feeling and understanding of gratitude itself. As I turned to walk another pathway I shifted to the gratitude I felt in walking, doing, thinking and being as a person. On the next turn I extended the feeling of gratitude to my family for their contributions to me and the opportunity to give to them. Beyond that the thankfulness poured out to my friends that I had chosen in life and how we served each other in what we became in knowing and being together.
Turning again, those I work with and associate as aquaintences became my focus and how each was a helpful part of the whole.I noted with appreciative awareness how I fit into it and grew in knowing them and they in knowing me. In another shift of direction, those I interacted with on a passing level in my community became a curious as well as thankful gesture. While they are often fleeting moments of exchange, each passes into my life and I into theirs as if to make a moments impression for known and unknow reasons at the time.
Circling to the next path, gratitude lifts to include those in my country who are engaging for the good of our nation and those just trying to understand. Like me, each has a value in what we offer and in this moment I am grateful for this. Finally as I turn onto the last path of this labyrinth a heightened sense of gratitude for those I will never know, breathing out what I breath in and for myself as an unknown in the greater world, I am thankful for our existence and minute traces of movement that matter.
Walking into the center I have become the gratitude in my being and feel its vibration as if speaking clearly to the world. It provides a sense of grace in the steps that follow back home.
