Quantity for Quality

Day 16: January 16
In The Year of Living Honestly
In The Quarter of: Awareness
In The Month of: Definition

Honesty’s upside is found in the freedom it creates. Like this second half of the month, defining that freedom is all about appreciating and actualizing the benefits in being more of what we are capable of.

It is a lot like reaching the center of the labyrinth and being present to receive an insight. The realization provides a truth where freedom emerges. No longer bound by what we questioned, what is real dawns like a light shining through the cracks in the shell of what we believed to be true.

Looking into the corner where the double finger labyrinths stood, the decision to expand horizons with a dual dose of a walk called attention today; the only question was in how much to explore today. This is where being honest with how much we are willing to open and what we are ready to receive brings us to defining moments.

Being ok with taking the smaller steps and building, puts the quality into our quantity and speaks to so many areas of life that aren’t always conscious thought. In those small veins flows a multitude of purpose that drives our day forward and a notice of the simple ways we evolve our truth in common hours.

A suggestion to walk with:

Where do freedom and honesty meet in you today?

TLS 365 Experience 2018: The Year of Living Honestly
Whether it’s a daily walk, teaching others, sharing an experience, expressions of art, building or design, we explore the questions of what brings us to honesty in our use of the labyrinth.¬†

In a world of emerging truth, the labyrinth is a great experience to discover more of what is right and true about ourselves and humanity. Join us in sharing the honest moments it reveals.

Daily unfolding the process:
So far we have a daily blog and an unscheduled mid month podcast to explore the monthly focus. Share this week at:

A Clock Walk

TLS 365 Experience #163
Aug. 10, 2017

A Three part Labyrinth, clockworkIn the morning, I find I use the labyrinth to awaken, appreciation and create ideas for the day. The walk is opening and refreshing and an exercise of mind and body movement.

In the afternoon, I consider the use of the labyrinth to evaluate the intention of the day and how it has progressed and what is yet to come.

In the evening, I discover the use of the labyrinth to report to myself on the mindfulness of which my day was full, partial or randomly absent.

I think the pattern of the labyrinth is much like a clock in it’s design. At different times in my day, I wish to focus on different things and the ideas of beginning, amidst, and ending bring forth different attentions as the parts of our day might.
