TLS 365 Experience #248
November 3, 2017
The steps are somewhat painful in the walk today. Each placement takes notice of what is emerging in disease and with keener awareness, Feeling into the pain of the moment to make connection as the broadening and expanding action of my foot as it steps first with heel and then unrolls to make contact using up the whole of each part of the foot.
Noticing with this kind of awareness, I breathe with more ease. With slow motion of the mind and moving more purposefully to acquaint my body from footstep to the gait in between, I am aware of the juxtaposition of the hips and spine and the overall effect. I am carried from the pain into the listening of the motion that each step requires from the top of the head and its slight bend to the shoulders, evaluating the inertia. Finding slight adjustments for each impact, I walk out of the labyrinth a different person.
I discover I am more curious than furious and that may make all the difference in how I choose to navigate this new journey of life and labyrinth.
