TLS 365 Experience #186
September 2, 2017
It is interesting to notice my notice.
As I walk into the labyrinth there is an opportunity to become aware of what is present on my mind and I am surprised at how much is often there. With each step forward another thought or idea presents itself for consideration, clarity or clearing. As the turns increase and more time is spent, those thoughts tend to come less quickly as if the whole of my brain was easing and moving not calmer, just in a more relaxed way. In the center there isn’t much thinking, just notice being more in a full body listening mode.
In walking out of the center, the thinking returns reflectively. What is different in this thinking is in how I summon an idea to ponder and in the beginning thoughts just pop up. There is an effortless flow about the return walk, where a question of the mind is now answered with ease.
As I come to the end of the labyrinth, where thought is concerned I am of two minds it seems and in one, it thinks for me and the other I think for it. As I surrender thought, I am interestingly more in control than before.
